Looks like they need to work on the carburetor.

Gee... Wonder why the bean component is not for pre-flight or flight use, hmmm?
You want to avoid getting your flight off to a nice shart, once you’re already in your flight suit and strapped in. :P

Bird ingestion, maybe?
But then, that’s usually announced early on...

Must have been military passengers. All remained calm and no screaming like little girls. Glad they got down safely.

Sounds like an engine compressor stall.
To: KC_Lion
Yeah, that thing flew right above me last night; I head it making a lot of ‘booms’.
Couldn’t have been more than 300 feet above.
I live right across the bay from the end of the Hickam flightline.

Yes— G forces in some flight having distinct effect on the... digestive tract—upper and lower. Ask a fighter pilot.

Likely the engine surged due to either bird strike or inlet distortion; the booms you heard are characteristic of surge and happen at a periodic rate.
Usually spectacular and may be accompanied by compressor coming apart, but transport category engines are certified to contain the event.

“Sounds like an engine compressor stall.”
Yes, pretty common and not much to worry about.
