Thanks for the informative photo, Blue.

At first glance I thought the white-haired person was a man. You never know these days.

Enlarging on my screen, her neck looks swollen and bruised where the ball hit her.

Notice the BLM pin on her lapel. You have to wonder if the USTA was paid in dollars to sponsor that communist front . . or threatened with dire consequences if they didn’t.

146 people is .000253 percent of our population.

146 is 0.000253% of 57.7 million.

You are right, of course, and in my haste to paste I didn't check it as I should have. (As should Klee's editor, if he has one.)

This was actually a re-write of a column originally published August 28, which can be found in its entirety here, and you don't need a subscription to view it. (I'm limited out at the Gazette after wasting my freebies on other stuff that wasn't useful, so it's always good to have a backup source.)

Notice that the extra zero was also in the first column's 146 hospitalized/Colorado's population expressed as a percentage.

Sports and business columnists should be very careful with big and small numbers if they want to keep their readers.

He worked in the front office of the KC Royals...I don’t recall that he ever worked for a football team.

Thanks for refreshing my fading memory of Rush as he once was. All I knew was it was a team in Missouri, the state where he was born and raised.

I see she has the obligatory “Commie Lives Matter” button on her left lapel. And where is her mask? This was in New York, after all.

Rush was interested in buying the (then) St. Louis Rams franchise until harassed and blocked by some of the other owners, media and NFL.

Did you notice that this line judge is wearing a Burn, Loot, Murder button?

And the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress against White Male Privilege goes to.....Karen!

I watched the clip several times. Top seed Djokovic out of US Open after hitting line judge ... Djokovic didn't throw a tantrum or "rage." He tapped a ball to the back of the court. This guy can hit the ball at 140 mph. He tapped his spare ball. She probably is planning to hit him with a lawsuit.

I guess tennis wasn't sufficiently "Woke" enough, and they had to ruin it as well. Too many whites playing anyway.

Thanks.

You have confirmed what I’ve believed for some time is true.

That is, much of professional sports in this country is owned by elitist liberals who would like to maintain their cozy relationship with big-city power brokers in order to get tax breaks, publicity, bulk season ticket sales and a new stadium or arena every few years, all paid for by the gummint.

Someone who advocates a free market and opposes government subsidies, as Rush Limbaugh has for decades, would not be welcomed as a member of their little club.

Karen is right. She has the look of a Hillary voter, and will vote for slo Joe. She’s down with BLM/Antifa and she will sue this tennis star and will blame him for sexual harrassment as well as assault and battery, as she needs to use the #metoo movement for the icing on the cake.

I read 80% of Green Bay season ticket holders opted out of 2020. If Green Bay has no fans, no team does.

Isn’t Green Bay the only NFL team that’s owned by the city it calls home?

Homeowners there could be in for some emergency tax increases to pay the Packers unless the city has squirreled away enough reserves to cover this season’s losses, wouldn’t you think?

Or (fat chance) maybe they will end the season in the playoffs and have an unexpected revenue stream from the sports networks.

Dream on, Green Bay suckers. The coronavirus didn’t fix your wagon. The NFL caving to anti-American pressure groups was the reason the fans deserted you.

Have a great Labor Day.
