(CNN)For years, Fox News has worked to undermine and discredit the work of other news organizations that have reported damning details about President Trump and his administration. But on Friday, something unusual happened: The network turned a skeptical eye toward reporting from its own correspondent. After spending much of the day bashing The Atlantic for Jeffrey Goldberg's jarring report which said Trump had disparaged military members who died in service to the country, Fox News itself confirmed key aspects of it. In a lengthy Twitter thread, correspondent Jennifer Griffin said she had confirmed Trump disparaged veterans; didn't want to honor the dead at the Aisne-Marne Cemetery; and did not want to lower flags after the death of John McCain. An actual news organization would aggressively tout that it had matched much of the reporting at the center of the biggest news story of the day — especially given that Fox rarely delivers on original reporting of its own. And it would have mattered because Fox viewers are so often shielded from the truth. But Fox didn't proudly hold up Griffin's reporting. Instead, it acted as if it were ashamed....

Secondly, following the Vindman model, I’d guess they were not first-hand witnesses to what they claimed happened.
I think you nailed it, I have a feeling these are just “I heard from a friend who” type sources and don’t want to be named because they would be laughed at.
She should get dumped, for pushing rumors from unnamed sources. Trump has made many visits to Walter Reed to visit injured troops, when fallen soldiers are returned to the Delaware base he has been present to console their families, he has visited them oversees, he has revamped the VA. Trump has proven to be a great CIC. I’m fed up with Fox who used to tout “fair and balanced” which is bull sh^t.
They refuse to admit all this. They are in denial. And they are bewildered that Trump dances around them at every turn.
No wonder they are apoplectic! One could almost feel sorry for them.

Which, IF she were still a great objective journalist, should give her pause about the claims of the anonymous sources- but apparently she doesn’t give the people in the room any credence- TDS has clouded her objectivity- She’s no bill crystal, but still- she’s become a bit tiring to watch because of the TDS
How could she talk to the sources if they are anonymous?

That should be the final nail on the coffin for this story. Bolton’s dislike for Trump is well known. If there was anything to this story, he had the chance a couple of days ago to tack the President’s hide to the wall.

I think they were holding this for October but they had to get Nancy off the burner. So assured that they have MSM as their ally they even ran a well produced ad on MSNBC hours after the story broke with an offended mother of a soldier. No ad agency can write, film, edit and schedule a TV ad that quickly.
That would be racist or something.
People need to realize that if a “reporter” claims strictly anonymous sources, the story has a high probability of being 100% fabricated, as in there is no source other than the “reporter’s” imagination.

It was stunning to watch- how she attacked the Salon owner- and apparently are thinking about bringing charges against her as nancy’s hairdresser has apparently hired a lawyer- (This is just conjecture at this point)
But if nancy does this- and destroys this Salon owner’s business- it’ll just fuel the Trump campaign who will point it out over and over again, proving that if you dare oppose the elites, they will destroy you when you are most vulnerable-
We’ll see how it goes- just odd that lawyers and ‘evidence’ has been gathered evidently
All of Hollywood garbage is just remakes and copies of what they did before. Its been that way for a couple decades now. Tyrus just plays the roll, he didn’t write or produce it.

Fine, let FOX defend Griffin, but I’m going to refrain from watching FOX unless they fire her. She has been in the Never-Trump business from the beginning. I’m over FOX...
I’ll get my news from other sources.
I’d rather watch the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies anyway.
