I think if you, or anyone else, is betting on Christ’s return because something bad is going to happen to the USA, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

I think Christians who believe Jesus Christ will return for their pet cause (and look at those causes!) are in for a very rude and unpleasant awakening. Pray for return, but prepare to not be taken.
I am a Christian, and I fully understand the fact that He probably will not return just for a small pogrom in the USA of a few 10’s of millions of people.
I mean, He could, but I don’t “have faith” he will.
My guess is that Christ will come at the secularists most pleasant age -— no God in the public discourse, everything is going perfect, the world in harmony. That is when faith in Christ will be lowest, and it will be the hardest for folks to believe in Christ.
