My favorite motel name in Dalhart is the Best Western called the “Nursanickle.” It took my a while to catch on to the pun. I thought it was German or something.
Fox news. Maybe they forgot to add the word “alleged” when copying propaganda from CNN.
Abbott is working off of the Jeff Sessions Management Playbook.
Please make Austin like the rest of Texas.
When will Governor Abbott resign?
In January 2021 when the legislature meets in regular session, they'll be calling for his head on a pike.
I grew up and lived in Amarillo 43 years. Married a lady from Dumas (she was nuts and we rounded up divorced, hence my leaving Amarillo), my best friend was from Dumas. Went to the XIT days every year. Ding Dong Daddy from Dumas!
We had no A/C for years, but we finally got a swamp cooler. Like our floor furnace, it only gave comfort when you were next to it LOL. Needless to say, we kids spent no time in the house. Still go skiing and pass through Dalhart and Texline. Rabbit Ear mountain near Dalhart, a volcano, doesn’t look like a volcano. It is part of a volcanic hot spot that stretches across northern NM west to east.
If the governor does this, he should use it as an opportunity to import an s-load of police laid off by other states’ blue cities, and put these officers under the auspices of the Texas state police and post far more of them in Austin than used to be there.
He could even offer them moving expenses and a travel bonus.
The best part is that they wouldn’t be working under Austin’s rules or direction, and those they arrested would go before state, not city judges.
Don’t just say it, Guv.....DO IT!!!
Grow a pair, Greg, and just arrest Adolf Adler and the rest of his kakistocratic city council for giving aid and comfort to the enemy (Texas Constitution, Article 1, Section 22).
With trash and filth upiling up under every overpass, the Demonicrats are turning Austin into the San Franshithole of Texas.
Send in the Texas Rangers.
Legalizing homeless encampments was the first sign they’d gone San Francisco.
I don't know if it was the first, but it was one of the clues that the voters and representatives were determined to kill the city from the inside.
The people of austin get what they deserve.
Perhaps Abbott could do something actually useful to the state and rescind his mask order.
Abbott can piss off for all I care. Can’t wait until the RINO is up for re-election.
The ones who voted for the AHs on the city council might get what they deserve if they keep living there. But the university students might not stay. I wonder if any cities over a certain population will be liveable in the future.
