Pretty much. Dallas *is* run by Democrats, but after the first night of destruction nobody had any more patience for further BLM/AF antics. On the next night, while actual peaceful protesting continued to be respected, the ones that wanted to get violent were promptly trapped on a bridge, teargassed and arrested. Any further attempts at ‘mostly peaceful protesting’ have been landed upon like a kiloton of bricks and actual peaceful protests have been properly protected (and monitored).

Riots are bad for business, and Dallas is almost always all about business. Even Dallas Democrats know that.

Dallas Mayor has some sense for a Democrat. He does not want police defunded and is fighting the stupid city council about that, he wants upper level bureaucrats salaries reduced! Yea! He may be a candidate for Blexit soon!
