When I came to FR in March of 1998 freepers could see their sign up number. At that time mine was in the 3 thousands. It is hard to remember now but it almost seems like it was 3180. So there could not have been 4000 at the end of 1997.
I was looking for mention of the SORE LOSERMAN campaign(And “get out of my house”) that began on FR, but it may have slipped everyone’s mind.
All that aside there was a ton of great memories in your article. I really enjoyed reading it. Very well done.
Oh I remember that very well. That is the first time my husband and children were all demonstrating. Lots of memories.
