For nearly 30 years, Flora Westbrook owned a salon in Minneapolis. In June, rioters took over the neighborhood and destroyed her livelihood by burning the business to the ground. Months later, she's still received no help from local officials. In fact, they've made things worse by sending her a $200,000 bill for building removal.
"Here we are 100 days after your place was torched and how much help have you gotten from your local and state officials," Fox and Friends co-host Steve Doocy asked during an interview Thursday morning.
"I haven't gotten anything, not a penny," Westbrook said. "They never showed up. I didn't see any police at all patrol my area."

so much for pantifa’s bragging they’d ‘crowdsource’ funds for ‘community’ businesses that were destroyed. They sure seem to be able to crowd-source money for gas masks and plated vests and such.
BLM says Insurance will pay for it.
Rioting is a victimless crime!
Seriously, I have had stupid people I know tell me this and be 100% sincere.
These are the interviews we need to see. Good Americans who have suffered at the hands of leftist rage mobs and feckless left-wing leaders.
Prayers for her.
I moved myself, my residence, and my business out of Minneapolis 11 years ago.
It was evident, at that time, which direction the city was going. Corrupt, democrat, SJW leadership was already taking its toll, at that time.
real sad..wonder who she will vote in November
Nobody got hurt.....business has insurance. Victimless crime.
I feel awful for this hardworking lady.....her community let her down.
Soon the insurance companies are going to fight back against these cities who don’t even try to stop the destruction.
I think Trump should let this happpen, it definately helps him. If he wins, clean up the Antifag/BLM trash. If we loses, we will be at war soon enough.
$200,000 to remove a building burned to the ground? Aww hell yeah, for that price I’d salt the earth and hire a witch to put a curse on it.

I used to do a lot of work in Minneapolis at public housing projects and other city projects.
I think it has been over 10 years since I dealt with them. I had a skirmish with their Department of Civil Rights because I am a cracker and didn’t hire enough Floyds.
Also, on any city project you have to pay prevailing wages. The LOWEST I could pay a common laborer is over 55 bucks an hour. I call it occupied territory now and never go in there unless absolutely necessary.
I stay out in my white privilege suburb.
Roger that. Like thieves at Target. Insurance will pay for it. Yeah, and customers who use target will share in the increased cost of a new policy. “NOTICE! IT AIN’T YOUR STUFF NO MATTER HOW PO’D YOU MIGHT BE.” So, to the looters, fah-Q!
where's orca oprah?
where's bammy?
where's jesse? al?
Minnesota will turn Red in November, for the first time since 1972.
BLM trashed and then burns down beauty salon. Salon and woman had nothing to do with a racial death incident in any way.
Months later gets rebuilt but mayor and governor shut it down due to Covid scare at that time——unless you’re Nancy Pelosi, no one allowed to be a customer.
Than BLM has new “killed by murderous cops” incident and burns her place down again.
City life is so hard sometimes.
Answer: Waiting for their reparations payments deducted from our paychecks and house or car sales amounts.
Systemic white racism costs money./S
Flora Westbrook. Say her name.
Leftists politicians bail out Antifa, but no one is bailing out the victims of Antifa.
Exactly. At the end of the day paying customers will buy the stuff, whoever ends up possessing it.
It seems to me that that 200K is roughly 5x the cost of demolition and removal. Maybe 10x.
But, that’s just a guess, based on a conversation I had a while back with a contractor acquaintance.
Anyone with more on-the-ground knowledge wish to chime in?
I think you can drive around both Wisconsin and Minnesota...finding similar situations in the highly urbanized zones.
In ten years, I expect the same issues in Nashville.
