9 in 10 voters say civil unrest a key issue in presidential race: poll
The Hill ^ | September 4th, 2020 | By Julia Manchester

The vast majority of voters in a new Harvard CAPS-Harris poll released exclusively to The Hill say they believe civil unrest will be an important issue in the November election.

More than 9 in 10 voters surveyed in the poll, 92 percent, said they thought the issue would be important in the presidential campaign and election, including 52 percent who called it "very important" and 40 percent who viewed it as "somewhat important." The survey was released Friday.

The findings come as protests over racial injustice and police brutality have continued for months across the country following the deaths of unarmed Black individuals such as Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. The most recent wave of protests has taken place in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man who was shot by police seven times at close range in Kenosha, Wis.

While many of the demonstrations have been peaceful, some have devolved into rioting and looting. President Trump and other Republicans have cited the clashes between protesters and law enforcement to campaign on a message of "law and order" heading into November.

About a quarter of voters in the Harvard CAPS-Harris poll, 26 percent, said they believed Trump was "most responsible" for the violence in cities, while 20 percent laid blame on police brutality. Just 5 percent of voters said that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was "most responsible" for the unrest.

The Law and Order candidate will win.
Who could that be?
Hint. It’s not Biden.

Polling Registered voters at this point is only done if you want your poll to fit your agenda. Their agenda comes clear when the article mentions that “some have not been peaceful.”

That’s why Rat Party Headquarters stopped pretending there was no problem and decided to blame the President. Even that clown from Massachusetts...and Utah...is blaming the President, but he gets his orders from Rat Party Headquarters too.

If Trump wins they loot & burn down their neighborhoods.

If Biden wins they loot & burn down their neighborhoods.

Win, win.

If the rats can successfully switch the tables of blame on trump and the stupid populace drink the mediaSNAKES poisonous venom of lies .. then Trump is toast. But if Trump continues to just hammer them on this with riot ads etc he wins!! He needs to hit it out of the ballpark again and again until it sinks in!!. Otherwise he’s cooked!

Well, think about it: the unrest is happening in big cities — Dem strongholds. Those in the suburbs and beyond are unaffected... and they are the Republicans.

Honestly, this is a no-lose for Trump — likely to pick up votes from those blaming the right people: Dems in charge of their cities.

There’s no win in a Biden victory legitimate or not. There is a storm coming regardless of who wins
