Twitter has locked the account of another member of the legal team of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year old who is facing murder charges after killing two members of a mob of rioters that attacked him in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Pierce, who as Rittenhouse’s attorney, is expected to defend the reputation of his client, said on Twitter that “Kyle Rittenhouse will go down in history alongside that brave unknown patriot at Lexington Green who fired ‘The Shot Heard Around The World’ on April 19. 1775.”

Twitter promptly locked his account, requiring that he delete the tweet before being allowed back on the platform.

Maybe not ban-able, but perhaps a little over the top.

History may show that it was spot on. We’ll see.

But yeah. Certainly not banable.

When Pierce and Wood eventually sue Twitter, in what jurisdiction will they file? Their county of residence, Silicon Valley?

Twitter may be about to discover that you don’t mess with rich lawyers.

The guy has the money and the legal fire power to cause the twits at Twitter some real pain. Maybe enough monetary pain to defend Kyle for free.

It would not surprise me if this was actually well thought out and the legal paperwork to sue Twitter was already typed up.

Like the lefties comparing the border patrol to the KKK is not over the top, OR Trump being compared to Hitler is not over the top, the list goes on and on YET nothing THEY SAY is ever over the top where twitter is concerned!!

Yes. Silly hyperbole. Still shouldn’t be blocked, but I do find it kind of embarrassing and cringe worthy to be honest.

L. Lin Wood has already said he’s going to sue Jack Dorsey after being locked out of his twitter account ‘temporarily’. You’d think they wouldn’t stir the hornet’s nest.

I just tweeted the same text. Let's see if Twitter will scuttle me. But then again I only have three followers.

Yes, they are and at the same time, Twitter is perhaps the most important website out there when it comes to spreading the message of violence, looting and destruction that Democrats have been engaging in.

It is second to none. Almost every breaking story is reported first on Twitter.

Big Tech has the full resources of the Peoples Liberation Army behind it.

After all, Chinese domestic oppression wouldn't be possible without American tech.

What's the legal claim?

They can make Twitter spend some money on lawyers, but what else?

What's the legal claim?

I would start with: Twitter did maliciously inflict enormous harm to the reputation of said lawyer, who depends on his reputation for honesty and integrity to conduct his business as a lawyer.

the 'shot heard round the world' wasn't fired in Lexington.

it was fired in Concord at the old north bridge (in the opening volley).
Capt Issac Davis of the Acton Minutemen and another were the first killed in that volley.
