Joe Biden’s town hall event in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Thursday was marred by a number of controversial and eyebrow-raising incidents, including the Democratic candidate claiming that the lightbulb was not invented by Thomas Edison, and a questioner refusing to adhere to a pre-written script she was “told to go off.”
Biden said during the event that a black man invented the light bulb – and “not white guy named Edison.”

Participants at the event, meanwhile, appeared to have been screened prior to the town hall, where they were “told to go off” a prepared script, according to one woman’s remarks.
“My name is Portia Bennett. I’m just going to be honest, Mr. Biden, I was told to go off this paper but I can’t. You need the truth, and I’m part of the truth. I was born here, raised here,” the woman said. “I have to give you the truth of the people.”

How do we know that’s not part of the script?
Biden’s gaffes are pretty much baked into the cake at this point.
I think most people shrug.
Most importantly, people continue to ignore and express no interest in knowing who is inner-circle of advisors/handlers are.
Why?

In case you did not know, Edison had 4 senior developers on his team. One was black, which was pretty amazing for the time. When the team was tasked with developing 1000 different prototypes of the light bulb, the black developer was tasked with creating different filaments.
So, it was a team effort, with Edison providing the money and the inspiration and a lot of the perspiration too.
I saw her whole speech. She’s blaming her problems on race. Sure, you come up against racists all the time. But that’s not the government’s problem. That is something you have to deal with just as all of us come up with challenges that are not fair. It is the human condition.
And every event needs to be handled on its own merit.
Where you really get into trouble is when you take on someone else’s problems simply because you can relate. e.g. a white guy hating the system because he knows of a white guy that was passed over because of affirmative action; or a black guy hating the system because he knows of a black guy that was driving down the street, doing nothing wrong, but was pulled over and harassed by the police.
Both are the pathway to misery and shirking responsibility for your own life and condition.

I think a very large group of Biden voters know, and don’t care, that he’s not up to the task of being President. they just think, “So what, he’s got a whole staff to help run everything.”

This revision reminds me of that “Hidden Figures” movie awhile back. Yes, there were some black women, like a lot of people, working on computation for NASA, but let’s not turn that into “black women were uniquely responsible for landing white men on the moon and their role was covered up due to racism.”

Joe was not “reinventing history” there, he was simply engaging in shameless pandering —-as usual. And that’s the last thing his dementia will cause him to forget how to do.
That goes for everyone. We've all seen it, experienced it and in some cases fought it and lost anyway. But we moved on.... Blacks do nothing for one another by their collective agreeing it's a race matter when they meet obstacles in their way instead of investigating a way around the barrier that keeps them stuck in their self-imposed victim-hood. ‘They’ have to stop seeing the color of their skin and just go for what they want.
A black woman I knew was scouting for investors so she could open her own business. She received a call to meet from an investor (sight unseen) who wanted to meet and discuss the details. Her ‘fear’ that once he saw she was black he would back out gracefully was palatable. I spent two days with her reviewing her business plan, which needed no corrections, but her obstacle was 'her' attitude about the color of her skin....not anyone elses.... And that took most of the time I spent with her. End result...The investor became her business partner and she opened not one but two successful business locations.
THEY MUST get THEIR MINDS off their skin color. Stop talking about it. Focus. And move on what they want!

Saying something like “The lightbulb was invented by a black man, not some white guy named Edison” is not a gaffe, but something that you deliberately intended to say for whatever reason, like pandering to your audience.
And saying something like, “Covid has taken this year, just in the outbreak has taken more than 100 year, look, here’s the lives...” that’s not a gaffe or pandering, that’s a sign that you’ve lost your place in what you mean to say. Happens to everyone on occasion, but seems to happen every time Biden speaks for more than a few minutes. And that might be something more serious.
Well they forgot to mention Biden said that they burned Black wall street banks down this followed the light bulb comment. Biden is trying to stoke racial tensions.
I have said repeatedly, even going back to the start of their primaries, that Biden exhibited clear symptoms of dementia. I would not wish that upon anyone and have seen many people I knew and loved suffer from it.
I think many Americans will reach the same conclusion the more he is exposed, which is likely why they are hiding him in the basement.
The “objective” journalists have their questions handed to them in advance by the Biden campaign.

In the 1880s, the public called it an "Invention Factory", but now the modern term is a "Research Laboratory". Menlo Park, NJ, was started in 1876 and ran under Edison through the early 1900s. Some 400 patents had this address on them and Edison pretty much worked on OR inspired them all.
In this case, shouldn't he get credit for color-blind hiring?

The script writer is probably smart enough not to mention the script in what he tells them to say. OTOH anything is possible with team Doofus.
But now the cat is out of the bag with respect to the script. I doubt it will see the light of day in the RAT-controlled media.
