Based on her credentials the only way she could get that job was to be black. I worked with a girl, we had same job title, both went to state school, same degree, same GPA.We took LSAT at the same time. I scored higher than her on LSAT. We apply to same school, she got accepted with scholarship. I got wait listed. Oh, she was of Korean dissent, but every much of an American as I am.

Krug has a Ph.D. and is the author of the book “Fugitive Modernities: Kisama and the Politics of Freedom,” which “interrogates the political practices and discourses through which those who fled from slavery and the violence of the slave trade in Angola forged coherent political communities outside of, and in opposition to, state politics,” ....

I'm sure that sold all of ten copies. Maybe more if she used in in her own courses.
