Actual “news” consists of statement of fact about events which have already happened.
“Editorials” consist of opinions about people’s motives or about possible future events.
There is precious little “news” these days. It’s really all propaganda aimed at manipulating future events.
That is what’s going on. Whatever is happening, there is always some aspect of the situation which is blamed on Trump.
A common talking point is that Trump was slow to react to the virus, and mishandled it. They take that questionable opinion, and extrapolate it to mean that Trump is personally and directly responsible for 180,000 deaths.
The fact that their icon Dr. Fauci, publicly praised Trump’s early action to restrict travel from China and Europe is ignored. The fact that Trump took these actions early on, while according to the talking point, he ignored early warnings about the virus, is simply ignored as well. Facts which counteract the talking points, even verifiable facts, are simply ignored.
The fact that Dr. Fauci publicly said that Trump’s actions saved lives, is ignored.
And don’t forget the Apples and Oranges technique. A developing talking point is that Obama and Biden knew how to handle virus outbreaks, and they point to how Obama and Biden allegedly did so well handling the Ebola outbreak a few years ago.
The major differences between the Ebola situation and the Covid situation are ignored, because they are inconvenient truths. Instead, they hammer the talking point that “Obama and Biden handled Ebola, and Trump messed up with Covid”.

In Democrat-majority states, a lot of Republicans don’t bother to vote, because it will make no difference anyway. If all the Republicans in CA, NY , etc voted, Trump WOULD have won the popular vote.
Opportunistic, in the worst sense of the word.

Then they try to call some things, “settled Science”....Just read a Dean Koontz novel and he tends to make fun of a number of leftist memes in his books - the latest was discussing science and he stated that any scientist that says “The science is settled” has stopped being a scientist and become a religious zealot...

Clearly dems have found that Harris is a looser for swing voters and are keeping her under the radar. Don’t want the voters to see who the real president will be;) Any doubt that Biden could ‘discharge the powers and duties of his office.’ ?
