It’s not clear from the article whether her party dined inside or outdoors.

Slumming again Nancy? It doesn't appear to have outside dining as delivering food down those stairs could prove challenging.

Ambrose Bierce spent about a year overseeing the build of the Rockerville Flume.

Are you getting the idea now, protesters?
I guess I’ll have to spell it out for you-
When you march and protest, and actually force the city to “defund the police”, there will still be police.
They just won’t be YOUR police.

There is a ruling class in the USA, which was founded on the principle that there were no classes, a principle that it quickly shot to hell with slavery and jim crow, and which has never actually been put into practice.

Congress is the ruling class. It makes laws for the common herd, and doesn’t obey them. What seems like hundreds of years ago I read a book that detailed the privileges congress has given itself. I would like to find an updated version of that book.

Congress has the power to take our money or to give us money, depending on whether we vote one way or another. It has abused that power.

We threw out the monarchy, only to anoint congress as the royal family with privileges far beyond anything a normal person can hope for.

And how did nancy get so rich on a congressional salary?

Love it!

All of these mayors, governors and other pols who have been so zealous in destroying everybody else’s lives and businesses are having a good old time themselves and living high on the hog. Not that we ever thought otherwise...I haven’t noticed them turning up in public with their shaggy, grown-out undyed grey hair and or complaining about being sick of living on pizza delivered to their home every night.

Imagine this: a camera pans over the destruction, decay, and ruin of buildings in demonrat controlled cities. Followed closely with zoomed in images of pothole-laden streets with homeless sitting on the crumbling sidewalks. As the camera fades a concerned voice asks “Would you want to live here? Vote Biden/Harris 2020 and you will. Think that would be a good ad??
