Removed as the chairman, president and CEO of the charitable organization Samaritan’s Purse

Not surprising. Notre Dame basically did the same to Coach Holtz.

When the SHTF, not only are our politicians responsible, the clergy in this nation hold just as much blame.

Years ago, I had a pastor get sucked into supporting one of these groups, thinking they were Christian. I asked him, “Then why don’t we see the gospel on their website?”

Especially the American Baptist denomination. This tiny group, shrunken to a microscopic size, is always trotted out there every time the initiators of the latest anti-Christian manifesto round up The Usual Suspect groups who will rubber stamp whatever is put in front of them. This way the MSM can tout support from "Christian groups all over the spectrum, why even the Baptists!!"

I have a close friend who pastored an ABC church, and described how disgusted they got before finally unaffiliating with the denomination, just like the vast majority of their former churches had done.

“Please Franklin Graham, do not back down.”

That is what I love about Franklin - he doesn't back down. Any criticism that he takes he turns it back around to preach the gospel.

They criticized him over his Covid field hospital in Central Park. He replied something like: “You know, I've heard their claims. Yes - we do not hire homosexuals. That does not mean that we don't love them, and of course anyone that needs our medical services or anything else that we can help with we will love to help them out. We are all sinners, and God came to save and to serve sinners. We are doing our small part in that.”

I recall one story he told about a guy that lived nearby the field hospital that would come and volunteer everyday doing odd jobs. The guy told Graham that he was an atheist(?) but he wanted to help as a volunteer to help his community. Graham talked about what a great guy he was, really loved his neighbors, etc. Left it something like “Even though he didn't become a Christian in those weeks with us, I'd like to think that him working with us was one more step along his journey.”

But a mutual respect between the two of them. So refreshing.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mt 7:21

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. James 1:25

Yeees, we are saved by faith, but the proof of our faith is what we do.

Anyone can go on their website and “as a faithful Christian” sign one of their several petitions. This is a group that went after Hobby Lobby. Any questions?

Thank you for your post. That is encouraging.
And we do not know if some time down the road, the field hospital volunteer may decide that rejecting the Lord is not a good long term plan. :)

Leadership in Samaritan’s Purse.

Um, no. Your statement is inaccurate. The petition was started by a group named Faithful America, which bills itself as the largest online community of grassroots Christians acting for social justice.

Um, yes. Look at the question I was answering.

It's at the beginning of the article at the link.

"A petition calling for evangelist Franklin Graham to be removed as the chairman, president and CEO of the charitable organization Samaritan’s Purse has garnered more than 11,000 signatures as of Wednesday. "

There’s a Prayer March 2020 in Washington DC on September 26. The ‘White House Seige’ starts September 17 and is supposed to last 50 days. They’ll be in DC at the same time. This is not going to be good.

Yikes... :-(

If Franklin Graham is removed from Samaritans Purse, I will stop my monthly contribution. Somehow I don’t believe this will happen.

Yes, but God is on one side and not the other.

We know the prayer march people will not be instigating anything.

Nevertheless, we need to be praying for their protection even now.

There’s going to be a tremendous spiritual battle taking place there on that day, and the forces of the enemy are not going to like it one bit.

They thought they could even defeat Jesus so I have no doubt they will be trying here, too.

And I suspect that satanists are already casting spells and offering sacrifices for the event.
