Guess what blacks? White parents tell their kids to keep their hands visible and not make sudden moves when dealing with police too.
Yesterday I heard some idiot say that white folks don’t need “the talk.” Then they said that “the talk” was daddy saying, “Obey the police.”
WHAT?!
My daddy said to obey the police... my teacher... the coach... my pastor... my mother...
Not in that order, by the way.
John Derbyshire tried to give the white version of the talk to his kids and got kicked off NRO.
The real problem is, Daddy ain’t around and Mama thinks her baby is an angel and don’t you touch my boy!
Chris Rock has a great YouTube video that has his take on “The Talk”.
I do all of them when pulled over - and I’m white.
We do have The Talk with our kids.
All of the above AND add Do Not Talk to the Police without an attorney present . Do NOT ignore (cause) warrants to be issued
Perhaps because it was simply not even thought of to sass or confront law enforcement. Maybe because it never occurred to us to break the law in the first place and draw the attention of the cops.
It's a cultural thang, don'tcha know.
Evidently, these bad-ass antifa are too afraid to riot in any majority black cities. They claim to be destroying public and private property on behalf of their black brethren, but are terrified of being around actual black people.
White antifa have been rioting in Portland (super white!) for more than three months now. On the rare occasion when they get arrested, they’re immediately released, often bailed out with funds provided by white celebrities like Seth Rogen, Abbi Jacobson and Steve Carell.
Now that’s “white privilege.”
BOOM!
Ann really nailed this one.
I was going to say that. Hello! Ann any parent who has a son has that Talk. How about those H.S. driving courses? They are taught how to react when stopped by the police. If you would have had children, Ann, you would know that and not have embarrassed yourself.
bttt
I tell that to my son repeatedly. I also told him that if the cops are wrong, don’t argue or resist. That’s what lawyers are for.
Obey the law, respect authority it’s not Rocket Science
or as my attorney put it. "Their job is to convict you. Don't help them."
I not only had the talk with my kids but I follow the protocol myself. I like freedom.
I knew to act in all the ways described without ever being told anything about police.
Exactly! And don’t talk back (because they can have their say later).
I received the same talk when I started driving. I am white.
