Also, in India, the mostly 3rd-world conditions ensure those that survive 1st-world-preventable diseases have a humongously robust immune system. So with most Indians, the Chinese Frankenvirus may not even stand a chance in the first place. JMO.

On that, we can agree.
The United States is a huge country, as big as Dublin to Moscow and Sicily to Narvik.
As such, there have been different “first waves” in different places at different times. It is noteworthy that in the Northeast, we are indoors when it’s cold (March) and in the Sun Belt they are indoors when it’s hot (July). This SHOULD shine a light on HVAC as a major, maybe THE major, factor in the distribution of the virus.
It is misleading to draw a single curve for “the United States” with two peaks, as if the rise in cases in NY in March also occurred in Texas.
Anyway, now that the wave in Florida-Texas-Arizona is receding, we see a curve with the same shape and timing as Wuhan, Bergamo, Paris, New York, and on the Diamond Princess and USS Theodore Roosevelt.
The fraction of the population which is rapidly and easily infected looks like about 20% in all those places.
I speak about COVID often, and I always say that about 40% of the disease is revealed, with about 60% still hidden.

Who told President Trump and Dr. Fauci to STOP mentioning ZINC when they talked about HCQ? One of Dr. Zelenko’s messages to the world was cced to President Trump and Mark Meadows back in March. He and Fauci briefly mentioned Zinc, but afther that only HCQ. Of course we are now aware that ZINC is the critical virus killer. HCQ is only one of a number of ionophores that can help Zinc get into infected cells. I think it may be that HCQ can stop some virus before they get into the cells, but have not seen a reference. Meanwhile we now know there are other ionophores which can be used instead including one called Hinokitiol, which I plan to study next. The link below lists that and a number of other ionophores. One not mentioned that along with Quercetin can be bought over the counter, especially at health food stores is resviratrol. No need to miss the advantages of Zinc because of games with HCQ.
The original guidelines did not encourage mask use because there was a real shortage for meeting medical and hospital needs. Once American ingenuity solved the problem by making their own masks they should have been recommending them. Also, why did noone suggest using a scarf or bandana?
I think it takes two to get the job done, such as ZINC which will kill the virus but in order for it to work an IONOPHORE will have to open the door for the zinc to penetrate the cells. As far as leaving out the Zinc or forgetting to mention it along with HCQ seems like it was done on purpose as there are enough screwballs out there who like to see this remedy to fail.
And while we are at it don’t forget BHT as it works 99% of the time. About anywhere from 300mg to 450mg dissolved in oil as it is better absorbed this way. While you are doing your research you might as well include BHT (patent # US4350707 expired) as well and if you happen to find out anything new please pass it along.
You can buy Quercetin or Resviratrol at local health food stores and pharmacies. I believe that Dr. Z recommends 500 mg. Quercetin twice and day for therapy. I don’t know the recommended dose of Resviratrol. They are both ionophores that allow Zinc to enter infected cells to kill viruses. Dr. Z recommended 220 mg of zinc sulfate, or 50 mg. of elemental zinc. I don’t know how that translates for other zinc forms like zinc picolinate or chelated zinc. I take 50 mg. a day of a zinc compound for maintenance.
