Ya might want to take a coat along, too, since you don’t know if there’ll be a cold snap while you’re there ..... like the 30 degree lows this week.

Are you counting down the days yet? :-)

Yes, Jobu it is. I guess he likes it because he already responds to it.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Lauren for this morning's thread.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

It looks like you’ve had more rain and storm activity overnight. I hope it wasn’t too bad where you are.
There are tornado warnings NE of you at the moment and I’m watching one of the stormchasers who’s driving in the thick of things.

Did you and Gizmo head back out to Comanche Lake yesterday?

We did get a little bit of thunder and lightning but that was about it. Most of the stuff is to our East right now. They do have tornado warnings in Eastern Oklahoma right now.

I am currently getting an update for my iPhone as I type this, supposedly to fix some bugs in it.

We had a great time at Comanche Lake yesterday. here are the pics.

I also went and got a new pair of shoes. The old ones were wearing out.

I plan on taking a coat. And maybe a pair or two of cords. We really don’t get out much at night. Too much going on with just regular family stuff. I’ve been watching the temps and the day before we get there, the forecast is for 72/36 and sunny. 80/58 here.

Looks like we’re supposed to have a chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. What are the odds? The moon is shining bright and nearly full right now.

And...yep. I am counting the days. LOL! I’m glad he likes his name. It suits him.

I’m glad it didn’t get too rowdy at your place. The storm chaser I’m watching has been in the middle of the storm that has a tornado warning with it for the past several minutes. It’s not far west of McAlester. Mighty wild ..... and I wish I was with him. LOL!

As much as Gizmo drags you around during your romps, it’s no surprise your old shoes were wearing out. :-) Those new ones look comfy.

You never know if you might go out one evening so being prepared is a good idea.

There’s some scattered stuff around you now and you might get lucky and get a little dose of rain.
Eastern OK is getting hammered and Sequoyah landed smack dab in the middle of a tornadic storm a few minutes ago. Good job!!!
When I saw tornado warnings there, I pulled up the chasers’ web site figuring he’d be out since he’s a night owl .... and he was. LOL

That storm system is heading our direction and we’ll get some of it here later tomorrow, I reckon. The storm that hit this afternoon was pretty good, with a lot of lightning and an inch of rain in a hurry.
At the moment, the moon’s shining brightly here, like it is at your house.

Must be getting hard to sleep in anticipation of your trip. It’s been a long time since you’ve seen the clan.

Naming him “jowl” was appropriate since his are so massive. It does sound better in Estonian. LOL

Good luck with that! LOL!
The way Gizmo drags you all over creation, they’ll have holes in the soles the size of half dollars before you know it. :-)

I did pull up the site, but he was just sitting in the dark except during lightning flashes, but there was no tornado at the time. Why does all the good stuff happen at night! LOL!

I hope you do get the rain without the tornadoes. You’ve already had that experience. :)

I need to head out. See ya tomorrow night for another quiz.

Once the brunt of the storm passed, he took off again and stopped once in a while. He was in a little town when things were rockin’ and the streetlights gave a good view of the trees dancing in the wind. The lightning was constant. Those storms move fast so it didn’t last long.

We’ll see what happens as far as rain and storms. We’re just on the edge of the storm risk map for the day. Rain will be appreciated, no doubt, and I won’t mind a little lightning to admire. LOL

I hope you get some rain too!

Monday is a day full of guitar lessons, so I need to use the “cage” (Biker Lingo for a four-wheeled enclosed vehicle, ie: a car)
