Since the Emerson College July national poll, President Donald Trump has tightened the presidential race to a two-point margin, and is now trailing former Vice President Joe Biden 49% to 47%. In July, former V.P. Joe Biden held a four-point lead over President Trump –– 50% to 46%.
Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson College Polling explains “the Republican convention gave Trump his most positive week of news coverage which likely attributes to his bounce in this month’s poll and increasing job approval.”
Voters planning to vote early in person are breaking for Trump 50% to 49% while those who plan to vote in person on election break for the President 57% to 37%. Voters who said they plan to vote by mail break for Biden 67% to 28%.

That's the money quote. Trump voters basically mistrust mail-in and early voting and are PASSIONATE to have their vote count for Trump. They want to show up in person ON THE DAY!
I think from now until the election the polls are going to be pretty worthless. I think there’s a lot of Trump voters out there that just want to stay under the radar until they cast their Trump vote. Too much BLM/Antifa/Liberal BS to put up with advertising your support.
I’ve been a political junkie for many years and I can feel a Trump victory in my bones earlier in the process than ever before.
But can you feel fraud?
That includes the fraud. It won’t work because the numbers voting for Trump will overwhelm any fraud. I was worried about fraud until last week but not so much now.

What I find reassuring is that this is a National poll. Remember, Clinton won the national vote by 2% but still lost the election only because of the loony liberals in California and New York. And Trump only being down by 2% this far out is a very good sign! Also waiting to see the battleground state polling. I am hoping that it will be very good news for Trump!!
The Clinton voters I know are firm for Biden. Therefore I believe this poll is realistic.
if we loss by 2 in the popular vote we prolly win in the Electoral College. This poll gives the Ds a four point edge, which maybe overstates their strength by 2 points. This poll shows 7 points for “someone else.” Figure that drops to 2 and we pick up most of those who choose to not waste their vote, as we did four years ago. Finally, figure we pick up most of the 6 points of undecideds, again as we did four years ago. So, I figure we win the popular vote by 4 points, 51 to 47 to 2. That’s right now. Two more months of good news on economic recovery and dissipation of the mild second wave of the virus, and it could be a larger margin, on the order of 1988. It’s not just me. The Ds are started to see that their goose is cooked. This is why they’re doubling down on the lock down, the violence, and the name calling.
