The Italians, even back in April, were saying the same exact thing. The bulk of deaths in Italy were like 80-percent for people over the age 75. Secondary conditions made up most of the rest (diabetes, recovering from cancer, COPD, etc).
This is meaningless, since 94% of ALL deaths have comorbidities.
You have to understand how many people have these conditions. Take obesity alone, which is just one of the possible comorbidities.
Adult obesity in the US has reached 42.5%. Which means every one of those people that dies from Covid19 will have a listed underlying condition, whether it contributed to killing them or not. That’s just one condition.
Don’t we all
Excellent news for the vast majority of us who have no other underlying medical conditions!
[[[Adult obesity in the US has reached 42.5%.]]]
I’m amazed the rate is that low.
So why are the schools closed?
comorbidities: the simultaneous presence of two chronic diseases or conditions in a patient. “the comorbidity of anxiety and depression in Parkinson’s disease”
I think you are bringing up a red herring.
The Dem playbook calls for CHAOS. Thus the unions are keeping the schools closed so parents who work experience chaos.
“This is meaningless, since 94% of ALL deaths have comorbidities.”
No, the meaning is that they could have simply died WITH covid, not FROM covid. They might have died with Claudia and HPV, too—just didn’t test for it.

An oldie but goodie.:)
SCAMdemic. Prosecute the traitors.
msn?
how can they continue to whip up hysteria with an article like this?
Excellent news for the vast majority of us who have no other underlying medical conditions!
e.g. decapitation in a motorcycle accident.
Eh, whatever.
Being at school or at work in person takes up a lot of daytime that would be spent being idle and possibly even rioting.
We traveled the world and the two fattest People were England and the U.S.
Look, you are not understanding how this works.
The death rate for ALL diseases is increased in the presence of cofactors.
Obesity (BMI>30) is a risk factor for death from COVID. 42.4% of the US population is obese.
When one of that 42.4% contracts COVID and dies of suffocation in an ICU, it is ABSOLUTELY correct to say they dies of COVID, because without the COVID they would more probably than not have lived many more years.
