I don’t understand why they let him go to his car. It should have been secured, as it was a source of numerous advantages to a man they’re trying to arrest. A car might contain weapons, in fact it’s a deadly weapon itself, and it had a back seat full of potential hostages; it offers a fugitive protection and speed. Yet they trailed him all the way to the driver’s seat. They let him stroll to third base.

I think he had already pretty much beat their asses, and then shook off a taser, so I don’t think they “let” him do anything.

There will still be issues when criminals try this tactic in conservative venues, but it will worsen over time until Ritterhouse becomes the normal response for any and all crimes since there will be no police, courts or prisons, only shallow burial pits or trees filled with dangling skeletons.
