Is Governor Whitmer using state power to harass someone who sued her?
American Thinker ^ | August 29, 2020 | Andrea Widburg

Jordan Warnsholz, a physician in Michigan, put up a lengthy Facebook post detailing how the State of Michigan is harassing him personally and professionally. He contends that he is the victim of Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s vindictive abuse of power.

What he describes is a Kafka-esque nightmare in which government agencies have criminalized minor infractions and threatened his custody over his children. Intrigued, I checked why Warnsholz blamed Whitmer for abusing her executive powers. It turns out that he sued her in May for – yes -- abusing her executive powers.

In May 2020, Warnsholz, a physician assistant, was one of three people in the medical field who, along with a patient, sued Governor Whitmer, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Robert Gordon, the director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The basis for their complaint was that Whitmer’s executive orders – which became a byword for overreach in the early months of the Wuhan virus panic – left the medical practice unable to offer necessary treatments to its patients.

Michigan, incidentally, is one of four states that the Department of Justice is investigating because of the staggeringly high death rates for elderly residents in nursing homes.

In his Facebook post, Warnsholz contends that, since filing his lawsuit, the state has harassed him, by initiating a phony criminal action again him, trying to destroy his livelihood, and threatening his custody over his children:

Why don’t you all start a recall? You guys have the power to at least try to get her out of office.

Frank, and all other MIchiganders, have you signed the in real life petition to remove the piece of legislation (enacted in 1945, during WW II) that allows her to keep declaring a state of emergency and also allows her to act with no input in the legislature?

The website is UnLock Michigan.com. There are calendars there that show where people can go to sign the petition. This is the one petition that the state allowed, it’s all legit. The only info you supply is name and address.

I’m up here in BFE, so I had to volunteer to get signatures just to get my hands on a petition (we can’t make our own copies, they all have to come from the org.)

Tomorrow, I’m going to my neighbor’s house. At the end of his drive way he has a gray Port-A-John. Written on the door and side of the porta is “Vote For Joe Biden - Here”

Thanks for publicizing.

In that port-a-john did everyone run out of pages from copies of Biden’s clearance priced memoirs? Then the Dem mail-in system votes will have to do.
Good place for them.

There is one going but the number of signitures to get it on ballot is very high it seems and it must be done in 60 days. One bright spot in Detroit is the police chief, Craig, advised people to get the gun license because “the police can’t be everywhere”. Thanks to the Freeper that posted this.

Where you been for the past two months? There has been a recall petition circulating that is failing since they have been unable to garner the 1,062,647 verified signatures in the 60 day time limit...........An impossible task by the way.......
