This whole incident tells me they are not tough.
By tough I mean willing to give up everything. Even your life.
They did not come back looking for a major gun fight the next night and they did not keep rushing at the kid after he shot one of them
They are, as my father used to call them, fake tough guys.
They just have enablers at every level in those cities
Good rundown here...they will be carrying though for instance after he shoots Lefty there are 16 additional shots being fired as he walks towards the police.
That is for sure. They are a collection of criminals similar to a pack of dogs. Alone if you stomp your foot at them they will run away. But they are very dangerous when the pack outnumbers the people they are attacking by a huge ratio. They were emboldened when they realized that they were going after a very young person. When cornered the kid had a weapon, training, more hardiness than expected and survival instinct and the Good Lord on his side. These animals know that the adult authorities have their hands tied and expect that they will come to their assistance if someone actually defends himself. They are very afraid when they find that there might be consequences to their actions.
No one will miss the two thugs that are dead and the media will not celebrate them because they have the wrong skin color. If the kid's family has any assets, unfortunately the one with the injured arm will sue them. And the media can be counted on to slander the family and the kid. We can't have a shining example for people who defend themselves.
