Well I think a lot of people for Trumps convention including myself went to OAN or CSPAN to view it because the main stream channels including FOX were not showing the convention in it’s entirety and talking over the speakers.
OAN and CSPAN I do not believe are counted in the ratings. One place I see the ratings have only six stations listed and the aforementioned are not included.

After the first night with Fox, I went with OAN the rest of the way.
OANN was brilliant. Uninterrupted coverage was bookended with some very decent pre and post commentary. The OANN people are quite skilled at synopsizing these events.
I recorded the entire speeches from last night on C-Span and watched it this morning. The only problem I have was that the president spoke way to long for my taste, but I listened to the entire speech anyway.
