1). I am feeling so humbled this week. I feel truly horrible for the things I said and believed in 2016 about @realDonaldTrump . I believed the worst politically, which he proved me wrong at almost every turn. In the most dramatic cases (life/Israel/China/authoritarian)...

The reason the Park Police Helocopters didn't count all of your massive attendance is that it was blistering hot that day and people were hiding in the shade as well as coming and going to avoid heat stroke. I remember well and God bless you for your successful effort leading up to the event that shocked the swamp a decade ago!!!
Wonder if he heard the angel Moroni tooting away??
Oh wait:
3/18/2020 Angel Moroni loses trumpet in Salt Lake earthquake | KUTV
I know what you mean, I could never trust a born again Christian........
I would believe the patriotism bit if I saw a picture of him in uniform somewhere. A lot of these patriots come to it quite late in life.
uh yup- go check out his diatribes about george floyd
Howie Carr doesn’t’t have stupid days . His podcasts are entertaining.
If you drop the “I” from Moroni you get .......
LOL!
Hes full of shit enough even without bashing Trump incessantly
I loathe him
“how much he had been indoctrinated by the media. . . “
I think it is more how jaded we become in our own doctrinaire beliefs and how we measure others up to our personal dogmas.
Beck is a good example of that jadedness we get hung up on. I’m guilty of it myself. During his campaign, Trump called Beck when his dad died and offered his condolences. Beck confessed the other day that he thought it was just a cynical ploy and what candidates do when running for office. That is what Beck is so apologetic for today and regrets so much. I was listening that day, and it rung sincere to me..
He now sees what a good and caring man Trump is.
It is what impressed Mike Pence as well. Looking at Trump’s children.
Pence said, “You can’t fake good kids.”
Like Beck, I was a Cruz supporter. Even entertained Rubio for a while. I, and many others here and elsewhere, did not think Trump a doctrinaire conservative.
What made me a Trump supporter, and a very strong one, was how in his campaign he kept talking about and empathizing with the victims of crime in our community and in our society . No politician in my memory kept invoking over and over the lifelong hurt of those left behind when a loved one dies at the hand of another..
That message came through time and time again during the convention.
I liked Beck’s sense of American history and his blackboards. He backed it up with fascinating research. I’ve bought his books. I can welcome him back in the fold. I know his regret is genuine.
What abt Mark Levin? I’ve forgiven him a bit. Beck? I have thought he was a toon for a long time. But hopefully he will get mentally straight.
Mark Has been reliable. He is a great intellect and I like his call for the Liberty Amendments. I still don’t understand his dislike of Trump but he has come around. Glenn is just too flaky. I listen occasionally but I really used to enjoy his Fox show.
“Mark Levin was also an anti-Trumper when Beck was.
Not anymore. Trump changed a lot of minds.”
And watching their audience desert them en masse focused their minds wonderfully.
I don’t have a lot of use for either one of them.
Levin gets away with posturing as a scholar because most people haven’t read books by those who are.
And Beck is a buffoon.
Mormon tribe loyalty. Most of the elected ones spoke against Trump. The fool Jeff Flake openly supports Biden.
In the 2016 General Election 21% of Utah voted for Evan “Egg McMuffin” McMullin, a wearer of the magic underwear, the great Mormon hope to defeat the potty-mouthed Donald Trump.
“Glenn Beck is a patriot. One of too few that has the wherewithal to fight the culture war.”
Earlier this summer I heard Glenn Beck and Larry Schweikert say that the Virginia Jamestown Colony was “evil” and therefore not the real beginning of America despite it’s having been founded a dozen years before the Pilgrims. And despite Virginia having spawned Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Patrick Henry, George Mason, Richard Henry Lee, among other Founders.
What culture is it that the “patriot” Glenn Beck is fighting for?
Hilarious. I love good satire.
Thank you
Yeah and earlier this summer I heard this and that and blah, blah, blah...whatever.
