Though a city of almost 100,000, the name implies a certain small hometown quality. Most voters long ago wrote-off inner city Baltimore, Detroit and Chicago. But if this kind of violence is percolating down to places Americans view as more idyllic the political repercussions will be dramatic.

Great point. I expect Dems will reign in antifa/BLM after the RNC since it is polling bad now.
Er... prior to this, I associated Kenosha with “crappy low-quality domestic vehicle parts manufacture by entitled union idiots” and “factory farm dairy products” not “small hometown.”
It’s run by Democrats. It was a writeoff long ago, it’s just that people refused to admit it.
