Well, it wasn’t like they were going to bash him at his funeral. Stratton was around a long time, a senior statesman. Long enough that I was able to get a personally requested autographed photo from him back in the ‘90s.
Fun fact about Gov. Dwight Green: he autographed everything in a personalized green colored pen. Well, I thought it was amusing.
Sen. John Bricker should’ve been the 1948 nominee for President, maybe he’d have picked Gov. Green as his running mate.
