Elbit Systems of America has successfully integrated acoustic, vibration, and visual sensors with artificial intelligence/machine learning algorithms into its TORCH® command & control/common operating picture software.
This solution is now being deployed as part of CBPs Border Wall System to provide an autonomous capability for U.S. Border Patrol to know when items of interest are trying to unlawfully cross into the United States.
Elbit Systems of America has also integrated TORCH® with Sintelas ONYX Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) system that senses acoustic and vibration activities, along with wide angle commercial cameras and machine learning algorithms...
TORCH® and ONYX are part of Elbit Systems of Americas Linear Ground Detection System (LGDS), which forms a comprehensive technology solution for the companys Border Wall System...
This combination of technology forms an autonomous system that requires no agent-in-the-loop for a substantial portion of the USBP mission to detect, identify, and classify items of interest at the border. TORCH® is securely integrated with other CBP sensors and applications to correlate and fuse information for additional automation capabilities...
Elbit Systems of America is the prime contractor for the Integrated Fixed Towers (IFT) program that provides more than 7,000 square miles of protection on the southern border with long-range surveillance technology...
Elbit Systems of America has also developed advanced mobile and relocatable systems with its innovative autonomous surveillance capabilities that give the Border Patrol greater operational flexibility and adaptability when protecting Americas borders.

A variety of powerful new sensors are constantly monitored by artificial intelligence software, which raises detection rates to near 100%.
Looks like a fun development project.
The bollard barriers, we can see.
The massive Technology rollout that is occurring along the border is harder to see - but it will be felt.
It is going to transform detection and characterization (identification) of threats where the new bollards go in - but also the wide areas where no barrier will be.
Bottom Line: An “All Seeing Eye” of Artificial Intelligence powered monitoring, is rolling out for the whole of the Southern Border.
It will be able to sense the vibration of footfalls and identify those of humans from animals. It will be able to sense digging or drilling underground, or sawing of bollards. It will be able to sense motion and body or engine heat on the ground and in the air, and more. And it will continuously learn and improve, as our opponents struggle to adapt.
The Invisible Wall Proposal: Why The First Failed, Why It Will Fail Again, and What Works Instead

Robo-cop?
“Looks like a fun development project.”
Essentially, they interfaced a super new sensor system from another vendor, into the existing integrated Command Post system.
The Sintelas ONYX system is a real world beater. A buried fiber optic system that can detect a person tiptoeing above or digging below. It effectively detects anyone not flying over.
The TORCH® software in the command Post will immediately focus cameras to investigate and characterize alerts from the buried sensors (as well as a variety of previously integrated sensors), and notify the human operators.
Both ONYX and TORCH® have independently been used effectively, but now their software interface is reported to be complete.
Im still waiting for autonomous armed UAVs.
Landmines ARE autonomous. Just sayin.’
Need to handle cartels with c4-laden drones.
This gives an idea of the incredible technology that is now in full scale deployment across our Southern Border.

great information beaubo.
many people have only seen the wall as a barrier of steel bollards & concrete footings.
if fact it is a fully integrated high tech system marvel that integrates motion sensing fiber networks, wide vision cameras, artificial intelligence and machine learning with amazing accuracy.
this could enable more efficient use of CBP personnel and better results in border security
good job!.
Now if they would just use it to trigger Claymores....
