The U.S. on Wednesday announced it blacklisted Chinese officials and business executives involved in the military buildup of the disputed South China Sea, further ratcheting up tensions in the region ahead of the November election -- the same day that Beijing reportedly fired missiles including an "aircraft-carrier killer" into the sea as a "warning" to the U.S.
China had claimed a U-2 spy plane entered a no-fly zone without permission during a naval drill in the Bohai Sea, a military source told the South China Morning Post. The Pentagon has given few details, but said a U-2 flew "within the accepted international rules and regulations governing aircraft flights."

At the same time, the Commerce Department reported that it had added 24 state-owned Chinese enterprises, including subsidiaries of the China Communications Construction Company, to its commercial blacklist for their roles in constructing artificial islands and other activities that cause major environmental damage and infringe on other nations' claims.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement that the travel ban would apply to Chinese individuals "responsible for, or complicit in, either the large-scale reclamation, construction, or militarization of disputed outposts in the South China Sea, or (China's) use of coercion against Southeast Asian claimants to inhibit their access to offshore resources."

No, it wouldn’t. The best time for China/Russia to act would be in the middle of a hot Civil War in America. Our military would be largely split between the two domestic sides. China/Russia would need to pick a side and reinforce them, which they possibly would, which would likely result in defeat of the other. The price the winning side would pay is eternal vassalage to the foreign power - much akin to selling one’s soul to the devil. T’would be a most sad day for America.
I think North Korea is temporarily not taking Beijing’s phone calls. China will have to do the heavy lifting themselves it seems.

I pray we don't devolve into a "hot" Civil War, however the Dems already let slip their plans. They already declared us "deplorables", "racists", and "enemies of the state". The "woke" left has publicly declared that they will get revenge against all Trump supporters when they get victory and have used many overt and passive-aggressive threats against our liberty and even our lives. The Dem leadership already declared victory in the election and claim that anything but total victory will be construed as Trump cheating the vote; the ultimate projection. The Left don't want justice, they want revenge. They want to disenfranchise and destroy us! The riots are just a mere taste of what they have in store for us.
The Civil War has already begun, it just hasn't gotten "hot" yet. Unfortunately I don't know if it can simmer back down or not unless we can end the COVID shutdowns and mandates, bring the economy back in full swing, separate entirely from China and implement a trade embargo with them and Russia, bring back school choice, and remove all 2nd Amendment and 1st Amendment restrictions in all states in the Union. In short: Give power back to the U.S. citizenry.
