No, it wouldn’t. The best time for China/Russia to act would be in the middle of a hot Civil War in America. Our military would be largely split between the two domestic sides. China/Russia would need to pick a side and reinforce them, which they possibly would, which would likely result in defeat of the other. The price the winning side would pay is eternal vassalage to the foreign power - much akin to selling one’s soul to the devil. T’would be a most sad day for America.
