You note I quoted “conservative”. What I meant was Trump wasn’t officially listed as a conservative politician during the 80s. Heck, he attempted to be the Reform Party lead in 2000, and one of his policies on his platform was universal healthcare for all. Obamacare (or Romneycare, take your pick).
I’m not totally against something that will decouple health insurance from employment.
