I will say prayers also. Today that is kind of young. I feel bad. I know we discuss health on different threads on this board but since a lot of us are past 50 now maybe we should have a general health ongoing thread. some of us don’t live the healthiest lives. I’m definitely including me in that statement. Maybe we would be able to help each other out. But this is a political website and not weight watchers :-)

The news I read on FR gets more depressing with each login. Screen names I have known since my signup are gone.
People have been lamenting on several threads that there are no more Freeps, no more meetups, no more face-2-face activism like the old days. There are many reasons posited, but the simple fact is we’re dying out, and our ranks will not be replaced. I myself see it in the reenactor groups, whether AmRev, CW, or Scadian; the population of interested folk is ageing, and not slowly.
dp0622 is only partially right: We can help each other, and this is not just a political website; this is conservative social media, we predate Facebook/Twitter et al by years. I have met folks in real life that I would never have known, were it not for FR. There are social threads and channels on FR that have grown over the decades for exactly that reason.
I rarely talked with The RightGuy over the years, but I noted what others have said; he was a stalwart who left us too soon.
