I'm guessing Trump just ruined CNN's day, praise from Trump is the kiss of death for any liberal. Now every leftist group will be denouncing CNN as "Trump Shills" and "Faux News". The poor liberal reporters like Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo will get angry scowls from their leftist friends and will be left off the invite lists from all the big parties.
Now it makes sense as CNN is in full meltdown mode right now as they are currently bringing on every Democrat and Never Trumper in town.

Everything that Trump says is wrong and must be condemned. Here he says that what CNN was really good, and good for the country. They must apologize profusely, and do a lot of soul-searching.
He’s got class. He compliments when it is warranted. FNC didn’t give him the same consideration in terms of coverage.

I watched CSPAN and FOX... it never occurred to me CNN would cover the convention in a real way...
