"This is not an opportunity to talk about difficult matters privately or in a closed environment. This is a circus. Its a national disgrace. And from my standpoint, as a black American, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree."
I celebrated the instant he said that. All the air immediately went out of Kennedys and Bidens sails and they knew it. You could just look at their faces and see it was like a gut punch. Clarence Thomas stock the Lefts big weapon and beat them over the head with it. It was beautiful.
Amen!
God bless and KEEP Justice Thomas!
I dont care right now.
I’m reading too many threads about blacks tearing up America because some animal got what was coming to him and I should quit while I’m ahead.
Sucking up welfare, snap, free room and board and contributing almost NOTHING except rape, murder, robbery and full on destruction of entire neighborhoods while donating sperm and making kids they will never see.
Yeah I know, of course not all of them.
Don’t even come at me tonight with your moral high ground or I will blast you straight to hell in my response.
I’m signing off for the night
Buona notte
BTW, that “YOU” wasn’t directed at YOU TBP :)
This was an important article to put up in light of recent events.
Powerful words, and true words. .
They need to be brought back to light in this campaign, as well as the Tara Reade sexual assault by Biden to contrast with the fabrications of Anita Hill.
It pains me deeply, or more deeply than any of you can imagine, to be perceived by so many members of my race as doing them harm. All the sacrifice, all the long hours of preparation were to help, not to hurt. But what hurts more, much more, is the amount of time and attention spent on manufactured controversies and media sideshows when so many problems cry out for constructive attention.
I have come here today not in anger or to anger, though my mere presence has been sufficient, obviously, to anger some. Nor have I come to defend my views, but rather to assert my right to think for myself, to refuse to have my ideas assigned to me as though I was an intellectual slave because Im black. I come to state that Im a man, free to think for myself and do as I please. Ive come to assert that I am a judge and I will not be consigned the unquestioned opinions of others.
It'd not about color, as much as the Left would like to persuade us. The freeloaders will always be among us. In this case, they use color as their weapon.
I want to put a stumbling block in the way of no man. That includes blacks who think for themselves. If I color all blacks with the same brush, that's what I do.
Some of the men I admire happen to be black. Some are friends. I never want to speak of blacks in a way that diminishes their dignity. I came to understand this when I read this speech.
I remember that moment
He was really pissed
Yeah I remember also PedoJoe snapping at either Orin hatch or Howard Baker
I'll never forget that moment. And it was exactly as you've described it.
We are known by the company we keep.
Neither did breitbart.
I was a young man and unemployed at the time. I had the opportunity to watch the entire debacle they called a hearing. Among other things, Clarence Thomas became a member of my short list of personal hero’s.
I also learned all I needed to know about the scumbag Joe Biden, stupidest man in DC.
“God bless and KEEP Justice Thomas!”
Do you know the link between Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford?
That was a great post. Thank you for sending it to me
