No, not true. AZ small busineses are having a devil of a time with Douchey’s lock down.
Even the Salvation Army is closed and boarded up. Many doctors, demist just shut down leaving sick people without resources for prescription refills. Needed surgeries, or tests, no lab work.

True dat. We saw a pizza shop OPEN sign but when we got to the door, sign said “Masks Required” so we turned around and left. Mask are not required in our county, they the business drove us away. Dummies.

One of the functions of a recession is to weed out marginal businesses. Perhaps 20% gets some more than the marginal however.
With marginal businesses closing, room is made for new businesses. You are correct. Loans won’t make a difference and wise bankers know that and won’t make a loan to a dying business.
