Why would anybody investing in a property rely on the valuation given by the property owner? Wouldn’t the numbers just be a jumping off point for negotiations? Wouldn’t the investors do their own due diligence in order to counter any inflated prospects? Aren’t the numbers rather flexible depending on a number of factors? Such as the current market and things like potential property usage? Just asking.
