The man shot by Kenosha law enforcement has a record that includes a 2015 incident where he pulled out a gun in a bar and threatened patrons...

I actually don’t care if the cop killed him in cold blood and that in itself is nothing to riot about, or even protest.
That’s because cold-blooded killings will ALWAYS happen, whether they are by cops (which is extremely rare). There are simply too many cops to expect otherwise, same for any large group.
What I want to see how our JUSTICE SYSTEM responds. If the killing is uncalled for, then is the cop punished? If not, then and ONLY THEN do people have a right to be angry - but if so, then justice is served and any other cop who thinks his badge gives him a license to kill will understand what’s in store for him.
But, at this point, the protests have nothing to do with the killings, they’re the excuse. If the issue was this killing, they’d be protesting the LOCAL police, not police in Helena Montana, who have absolutely NOTHING to do with this killing (and likely any recent killing).
What they want are TWO THINGS - (1) Trump to lose, and this is their get out the vote drive since Biden doesn’t connect well with blacks; and (2) and the end of having to worry about police, so they can do as happens in Third World countries. Basically South Africa is their end-game.

Something happened before the Video starts
People involved in the initial 911 call said he was tased. He also has something in his hand.
Theres also something black (could be electronics) laying on the ground.
“gun violence.”
I hate that framing. Nobody would say car violence.
Shoot to end the threat.
Allen Iverson.
The black thing on the ground was there when the video started.
If he was unarmed, then he was unarmed. The cops should have never let him get to the car. That was the cops mistake, and not his. The fact that he had a history of gun violence does not give the cops carte blanche to start shooting. Three people in my family are war vets and they all have a history of gun violence during battle. Are we now going to start killing vets based upon a "history of gun violence?" They were already drawn and aiming at him. All they had to do was wait until they saw him produce a gun. Up to the point he got into the car, he had committed no crime. The cops are going down for this, and rightfully so. If you or I had shot this guy, we would be in jail right now.
I think that reaching into a vehicle in those circumstances is the same as reaching into your waistband when the police order you to keep your hands up in the air. Doesn’t matter if you’re facing the cops or away.
The cop will still be fired. He'll certainly be suspended without pay, but he'll be fired. Sooner than later.
And I said, something happened before that Video ...
It is very easy to sit in your chair watching it on video and suggest what people should do. Being there, through the entire event, is differentwith absolutely no time to consider options.
“Three people in my family are war vets and they all have a history of gun violence during battle.”
History of gun violence in a war zone is not the same as gun violence outside of the war zone.
Why are you labeling your family members as violent people?
“Are we now going to start killing vets based upon a “history of gun violence?” “
Yes, the killing of a vet with a history of gun violence reaching into a car after being told to stop is justified.
What was the person reaching for?
Did the police officer see a gun or knew their was gun in the car?
Before you condemn the police find out the facts.
The police officer has the right to go home too. This person clearly is disobeying police orders. The police have their guns drawn before he went around to the driver’s door.
“The cops should have never let him get to the car.”
The video is out of context we do not know what happens before the police officers draw their guns.
Yes it is. It’s on his record and would advise police as to his tendencies should he be approached. This factors in their tactics in dealing with him.
+1000!
Any word on how the terrorists organized so quickly in Kenosha?
There have been some really bad shots by cops who just wanted to go home. Who panicked or misread the situation or escalated it. Wanting to go home is not enough, they must be correct about the threat.
In this case, they might have been. Stills from the video show Blake holding something which may be a knife. That precludes tackling him before he gets in the car.

That idiot governor needs to go now!
