What makes this work and what makes it so good is the passion each speaker has for the point they are hitting.
That's what was lacking for the Dems. Not a single bit of passion in anything anyone said.YES! ^^All that^^

One of my favorite clips tonight was using Pelosi tearing up the SOTU ... that was classic, showing how petty the RATs are ...

We can be united and still be less than impressed by one or two of the speakers, Rose. It’s OK. Actually, it’s American.

I think Eric is the better speaker of the two brothers. I heard him being interviewed on the radio a couple of years ago. He was very engaging and he held my interest.

Don, Jr. is passionate, too, like his dad. He could well be president one day.

The only thing I didn’t like about Jr’s speech is lumping in the party with PDJT. I know he has to, but the R Party has not really been with our President for the last 4 years.

I finally figured out what Joe Biden and the DEM convention reminded me of...
EEYORE, the Donkey who had this famous exchange with Piglet.....
“Thanks for noticin’ me” and “Ohhh-kayyy”. His pessimistic outlook was also shown in an encounter with Piglet, who cheerfully bade him “Good morning!” Eeyore responded, “Well, I suppose it is...for some.”

I just saw a blurb from CNN saying the opening showed Trumps dark view of dems.Pffft.
That's exactly what they said about the 2016 RNC. "Trump's dark view" "So dark" "Dark and frightening"
Any darkness the dems see is the hell they created.

I would vote for Hillary over nikki Haley...Let's not get carried away here. LOL...Well, Nikki has been less than passionate in her support for Trump. But I think she gets some traction with independents and even moderates, and that ain't all bad. That's why I think the PBS assassins handled her with kid gloves.
