I still do not know of a single person who has been infected by COVID, nor do I know a single person who knows anyone through direct knowledge who is infected. IF this is indeed a pandemic, everyone should know someone who is infected.

Well here you go. I know 12 people who’ve been infected with Covid. 2 of them were family members that died. My 73 year old uncle and my 94 year-old great uncle. Both had serious underlying conditions that had weakened their immune systems.

My aunt Is a nurse, she caught it too as well as her son, my first cousin. Both of them had mild cases, no worse than a common cold. My boss at work caught it and was pretty sick for 10 days. He had a high fever and flu-like symptoms. We never went to the hospital and has fully recovered.

The others I know were basically a symptomatic, not sick at all. They were only tested because of where they were (Italy and New Orleans).

I’m a 20 year Freeper with no reason to lie. With all that said I’m all for completely reopening the entire economy, full-time in person school, etc. This is basically a more contagious and dangerous flu to risky populations. And we have foolishly destroyed our economy.

So your rebuttal is they’re all lying? Including my two best friends that are doctors? I served with both in the army for years. They were my flight surgeons and are now private civilian physicians. Both these doctors think we’re overreacting to Covid, but nonetheless have seen plenty of cases. Mostly people that are old and already sick/vulnerable.

But you be you man. I’ll just tell my dad who lost his closest brother that the docs were lying and it wasn’t Covid. Got it.
