If we have seen anything these past few years, its that old-media is nearly dead, people trust it less and less, and the internet has freed people from their propaganda and allows for instant, on-demand, unlimited choice, and unlimited access to information.
Just one example. Joe Rogan’s podcast has 200-250 million downloads per month. its difficult to compare podcast and TV media exposure, but for example, CNN and MSNBC may get about 1-2 million viewers a day. Depending on who is watching, and for how long, that could equal about 30-60 million views a month. And consider too that is just one very successful podcaster - against the 2 national leftist cable networks!.
Another fake documentary don’t bother to get the pop corn.
