Seeing in print in the @WSJ this list of Republican national security officials endorsing Biden is really something. This is basically every GOP luminary of the last 30 years, saying “enough” to Trump. Stunning, really.

I have been a political junkie since the mid 80’s and I’ve only ever heard of 10 of these people. Most of them were RINO squishes at best or neocon warmongers at worst. Nobody cares what the rest of these globalist deep state apparatchiks have to say.

I am reading a book I just checked out from the library. It is titled "Never Trump: Revolt of the Conservative Elites" by Robert P. Saldin. I am only in the second chapter, but the book has already listed quotes from several names. Each time a name is mentioned, I check the list of signers of the anti-Trump letter, and yes, there is a match. These are not really luminaries, but mid-level staffers.

Like I said, I am just in the beginning of the book, but it supports your thesis, the national security "experts" do not like being exposed as being wrong and stupid.

I don't think I would recommend this book, however, as the author seems to be coming from a point of view that he believes it is important for the elites to save democracy from the stupid dumb ass voters. Needless to say, I don't agree with that point of view. But I will finish reading the book, so far it is interesting to me to learn the background of these Never Trumpers.

Ok, so that's the world Trump inherited from these genius strategists and Generals who served entire careers never winning a war.

Did anyone realize that Trump has studied languages all his life and based on observing him in videos, probably speaks or understands Arabic and Russian? He “ gets” people because he has spent his entire life observing them and knowing how to deal with them. He gains their trust and respect.
