Thanks for the moral support, at least. The battery in the cordless weed trimmer went low; two other trimmers need string; the gas powered trimmer hasn't been started in two years; the grass in back was so high it overheated the drive belt on the riding mower and stalled in place (note to self: fix that other riding mower STAT); and I need to untangle the knot of outdoor cord to use the hedge trimmers. That left the push mower but I forgot to take a Benadryl before I started and broke out in hives so big, I looked like I was stung by hornets. (And they itched like crazy.) I just left things as-is, took a shower, started a BBQ chicken dinner, and voluntold the wife she's not going to spend the day tomorrow beached on the sofa and binge-watching any of her shows, she's getting out there and working up a sweat with me. I'm on disability anyway and an acre and a quarter is a pretty formidable opponent if you try to do it solo and get it all done right, even if you have gas and power tools out the tuckus and a lawn tractor with a big deck.

I surely hope you feel better after getting that off your chest!
