State Health Commissioner Dr. Norman Oliver told 8News on Friday that he plans to mandate coronavirus vaccinations for Virginians once one is made available to the public.
Virginia state law gives the Commissioner of Health the authority to mandate immediate immunizations during a public health crisis if a vaccine is available. Health officials say an immunization could be released as early as 2021.
Dr. Oliver says that, as long as he is still the Health Commissioner, he intends to mandate the coronavirus vaccine.
“It is killing people now, we don’t have a treatment for it and if we develop a vaccine that can prevent it from spreading in the community we will save hundreds and hundreds of lives,” Oliver said.
Under state law, only people with a medical exemption could refuse the mandate.

Whenever I read about vaccines being discussed, I think back to what a fiasco the Swine flu vaccine was back in the 70s.

Unfortunately, two older Supreme Court cases ruled mandatory vaccines ARE legal and binding....I made a few posts on that subject...the rulings will have to be challenged, but the Suprene court could decide not to hear the case....time will tell.
What is it about Virginia that the government wants to start a civil war with its residents? If anyone in Indiana came out with this kind of garbage there’d be mass protests everywhere (I would hope!).

I am not sure what this means or where it is coming from. But being an anesthesiologist I am aware of what intractable pain is. Perhaps you can enlighten me on the post???

You are very trusting. Mrna vaccines have no track record at all, and fast tracking the testing on unproven technology does not improve confidence.
