Mossimo Giannulli, the designer hubby of former “Full House” TV star Lori Loughlin, was sentenced to five months behind bars Friday for his role in bribing their daughters’ way into college — as the disgusted judge blasted him for committing “a breathtaking crime on the nation’s higher-education system.”
Boston federal Judge Nathan Gorton OK’d the terms of Giannulli’s plea deal during a morning Zoom conference, saying the defendant’s prison sentence was “sufficient — but not greater than necessary punishment under the circumstances.”

The fashion designer will also pay a $250,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.

Loughlin and Giannulli's crimes were that they bribed the tennis coach. You're supposed to make a donation to the university that you want your kids to get into, that way the people at the top can skim their share of the graft.
I knew the Republican would get more than the democrat. When are they locking up half of Congress for doing the same thing as well? Oh ha ha.
They did the worse sin of all, exposing how liberals scheme to put an economic hedge around themselves, while demanding the rest of us be economically destroyed so they can be virtuous.
The parents slip a few hundred grand under the table to an admissions clerk to kid their kid in and it is illegal? Slip a the same amount to the school President as "donation" to the school, you get your kid in a classroom named after you.
Also, every politician’s kid gets a free pass.
And as others have noted murders, violent felons and drug dealers that have unquestionably ruined lives and families are being released with no controls on them.
It's hard to argue that these people have disenfranchised more potential students than Universities own discriminatory practices pro Black, Brown,illegal and anti White and Asian.

And I think community service is punishment to these people.
And I think community service is punishment to these people. And probably a better return for the state. Instead of spending money to house these people, they get something in return.
Meanwhile, people who can’t read get free school because they can run fast.
