Goodyear has backed off. They never approved the message at corporate, so this was a great way to start a backing off of politics by a whole lot of corporations.
This was well done; but don't believe the BLM support was all approved of beforehand.
See post 26 - the poster is correct, ‘field’ HR reps don’t wipe their arse without guidance and permission from corporate HQ. Note that Goodyear has not stated that the material was created without the knowledge or approval of any person at HQ.
Would also note that it’s possible that Goodyear’s philanthropic arm has donated to BLM as well, under their communities initiatives.
Also, did you listen to the audio recording from this same presentation? Sounds an awful lot like dude wouldn’t be presenting this quite so positively without corporate HR backing.
