House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney denounced the baseless, far-right QAnon conspiracy theory Thursday after President Trump embraced its proponents the day before.
“QAnon is dangerous lunacy that should have no place in American politics,” said Ms. Cheney, Wyoming Republican and third-ranking member of the GOP in the House of Representatives.

I'll throw my Conservative Opinion Knowledge up against anyone, and my Conservative conversations as well. I've never heard any speak of QAnon, and I don't think I know anyone who knows what it is unless they've made a conscious effort to find out what it is.

been fallowing Q since almost the beginning. take a good look about who actually cares about Q posts and think it is a danger. then ask your self what do they all have in common across the political spectrum....I am not going to ask anyone to believe anything about the Q movement because the truth is that no one with 100 percent certainty can say what is going on with the posts because it all exists in the world of smoke and mirrors and plausible deniability but I will talk about those who latched on to it.
those who do fallow tend to be the one who investigate things like the JFK assassination and its cover up, they Question anything that is told to them about government with complete skepticism. they were the ones talking on line about Epstein years before Q came around they have many Questions about 9-11 and its aftermath. all that Q did was suck up the distrust of government on the internet and tell everyone that there were some brave souls within government fighting where they can the corruption. they also told everyone trump was doing the best he could to fight it too.

Just a bunch of goofy people entertaining themselves with a wild theory IMO. Not much different to me than people who live for pro football or basketball. What any of these people think has little affect on me.
Unfortunately, there were and are a lot of people that weren’t goofy people entertaining themselves. They took it seriously. That’s why they’re dangerous - not specifically because they believe QAnon crap, but because they will believe anything despite the evidence to the contrary.
It could even be said that people believing that they should “Trust Sessions” is why Trump has had most of his first term hamstrung by impeachment and other crap - because instead of calling for Sessions’ head on a platter, people were “trusting Sessions.”
As yet I have seen no statement from the President

He did that all by himself. There’s a YouTube video of him daubing, back in the 90s, that invading Iraq would be a terrible idea and he rattled off all the bad thing that would likely happen
Then, in 2001 he persuaded halfbrained Bush to invade Iraq and all those bad things happened just as he had predicted
