Fed Gov money is the most addictive drug in history. It can change liberals’ minds faster than a mugging.
My suspicion is that Fed money would be withheld if cities began rolling with this idea.
They polled it. Didn’t poll well. If it had, they would have voted for it.
Why won’t it work? I remember seeing TV shows from forty years ago in which a shootout with a criminal ended when they sent in an unarmed hot looking woman reporter or woman cop in tight pants who ALWAYS managed to talk the criminal into surrendering!
If it works on TV it must work in real life! Next shootout lets send in the person who proposed this “Peace Force”.
I still remember when someone set off a bomb in the Louvre years ago.
