This whole radical Left's proposal to Defund the Police is a bad idea gone even worse. It's only a good idea if you are a criminal type.

These immature adults have not thought this process through to a logical conclusion, but then they are not known for being the sharpest tools in the toolbox.

Instead of Defunding the Police we would be Defending the Police. In some cases certain police departments may have gone a little overboard in the equipping themselves from excess military stuff and made themselves not as community friendly as they should be.

Communities should be constantly weeding out the bad cops and training new ones to keep the problems out of their forces. But they should also be showing their support for their police instead of bad-mouthing them and turning a cold shoulder and alienating them like NYC's De Blasio has done.

Large towns and metropolitan cities cannot function with a sense of law and order without a competent police force. County sheriff deputies can fill in the voids in small towns and rural areas.

But there is no doubt that America needs its well-funded and trained police departments to maintain the safety and security of its citizens from those who would do them harm.
