I knew it wasn’t allowed as an E-1 in the USAF.
I think every military person knows this.
Gator, I was a battery commander at Fort Bliss in 1984. We had plenty of reminders to avoid political gatherings while in uniform. It was never an issue, as Reagan trounced Mondale.
We all know this is not an oversight, but the communists trying to make it look like the military is on their side which is not the truth. Every election the commies put stickers, carry signs saying vets for who ever , but they are not vets at all, but lying scum
...my 28-year military service began in the early 1960s; even back then, we were told that participation in ANY political even while in uniform was strictly prohibited...! even as an E-1 Seaman Recruits we knew this sort of behavior was verboten. Today I doubt that this prohibition is even discussed within today’s US military...hell; it’s bad enough when sworn police officers kneel at BLM protests (sorry; riots...) shameful, all of it...(unless you are of the African persuasion, apparently....)
I was never military and I knew that.
