Those Japanese Toyo tires are looking better all the time

Agreed. Or most any brand other than Goodyear and Michelin at this point. Will be buying a new set within the next couple or three months or so for my truck and I won't be spending $1500+ on them for sure now. Last set cost me $1350 but with inflation and all they've gone up. Last set were Italian and were 80k mileage guaranteed on a set of 16" tires. 60k+ on them now and still have much tread on them. Too hard to get that kind of mileage hardly anymore on American made tires anymore.

Mazda uses Yokohama tires that have a very hard wearing rubber compound. They improve fuel mileage but give sort of a noisy ride.
